I’m the face behind the Artsynibs moniker, and I help people realise their creative dreams through calligraphy.

 

Discovering calligraphy was more than just finding a hobby, it was finding love…

My story began in 2012 when I met my soon-to-be husband, a fountain pen lover. While I didn't share his passion initially, I found myself drawn to the allure of these exquisite writing instruments, like a magpie to shiny treasures.

Yet, the delicate nature of fountain pens proved too stressful. Seeking a more resilient alternative, I ventured into the realm of dip pens.

 
 

Artsynibs was born when I hit the reset button on my life in 2014…

Alongside my husband, we embarked on a new chapter in the vibrant city of Manchester, UK. In the midst of our slower pace of life, I found myself pondering a fundamental question:

What truly ignites my soul?

The answer materialised in the form of Artsynibs Studio.

Manchester's creative energy inspired me to explore the untapped reservoirs of my artistic potential.

 

A pivotal moment arrived with my collaboration with Manuscript Pen Company to craft a Modern Calligraphy Kit…

This kit, now a staple in major art and stationery stores across the world, bears my original instructional guide despite numerous updates.

Since this milestone, I’ve curated and taught countless calligraphy workshops across Europe and North America between 2015 and 2018, before bringing the Artsynibs brand back to Singapore in 2019.

 

Calligraphy has been my gateway to carving a niche in the realm of luxury…

What initially began as a solo-operated workshop has blossomed into a multifaceted creative studio. This evolution has been nothing short of a blessing, enriched by the trust given to me by clients and fellow artists alike.

Today, Artsynibs Studio stands as a beacon of artistic excellence, offering an array of services including calligraphy, engraving, and bespoke leather and glass painting. I’m proud to say I run a team of top-notch artists who are experienced in wow-ing your guests and handling the unpredictability of events.

Our repertoire caters to brand activations, exclusive VIP gatherings, and the meticulous addressing of event invitations.

 

And I wrote a book!

The Joy of Modern Calligraphy is my workshop in words.

Written during the pandemic, this 128-page book goes beyond me teaching you Modern Calligraphy. It touches on my personal journey with anxiety and how calligraphy helped me find my breath again.

It’s definitely one of the most difficult projects I’ve ever worked on, and if I may say - I’m pretty damn proud of this.
