Hello, I’m Joyce

I’m the face behind the Artsynibs moniker, and I help brands realise their creative dreams through calligraphy.

Artsynibs Studio is a creative house specialising in luxury calligraphy, engraving, and live personalisation experiences for global brands.

What began as my personal love affair with ink and paper has grown into a team-based studio trusted by names like Chloé, Guerlain, and Jaeger-LeCoultre to create unforgettable moments for their clients and guests.

My journey with calligraphy started in 2012…

Not as a career move, but as a love story. My husband, a fountain pen enthusiast, introduced me to the world of beautiful writing tools. I didn’t share his obsession at first, but I was intrigued. When fountain pens felt too delicate, I reached for a dip pen instead… and never looked back.

In 2014, I moved to Manchester, UK, and pressed the reset button on my life. It was there, surrounded by the city’s creative energy, that Artsynibs was born. What started as a personal exploration of ink and paper quickly grew into a calling: to create, to teach, and to share.

A turning point came when I partnered with Manuscript Pen Company to create a Modern Calligraphy Kit…

It’s now a staple in major art and stationery stores across the world, bears my original instructional guide despite numerous updates.

Since this milestone, I’ve curated and taught countless calligraphy workshops across Europe and North America between 2015 and 2018, before bringing the Artsynibs brand back to Singapore in 2019.

Today: a creative studio with a team

Artsynibs Studio has since grown from a one-woman workshop into a creative studio specialising in luxury brand experiences. Alongside a team of talented artists, I now offer live calligraphy, engraving, leather and glass painting, and bespoke personalisation for:

  • Luxury brand activations

  • Exclusive VIP events

  • Invitation and gifting projects

We pride ourselves on creating moments that leave a lasting impression—both for clients and their guests.

Beyond the studio

In 2020, I published my first book, The Joy of Modern Calligraphy. Part workshop, part memoir, it shares not only how to start calligraphy but also how the practice helped me navigate anxiety and find stillness.

So what’s next?
