Hello, I’m Joyce
I’m the face behind the Artsynibs moniker, and I’m on a mission to bring the human touch back to modern products through handcrafted personalisation.
My journey with calligraphy began in 2012…
What started as curiosity around fountain pens soon led me to the world of dip pens, where I discovered the quiet discipline and beauty of the craft.
Artsynibs was born in 2014 during a new chapter of life in the U.K.
In that slower season, surrounded by Manchester’s creative energy, I began to take my practice seriously and found myself pondering a fundamental question:
What truly ignites my soul?
The answer materialised in the form of Artsynibs Studio.
The city inspired me to explore the untapped reservoirs of my artistic potential.
A pivotal moment arrived with my collaboration with Manuscript Pen Company to create a Modern Calligraphy Kit…
This kit, now a staple in major art and stationery stores across the world, bears my original instructional guide despite numerous updates.
Since this milestone, I’ve curated and taught countless calligraphy workshops across Europe between 2015 and 2018, before bringing the Artsynibs brand back to Singapore in 2019.
Calligraphy has been my gateway to carving a niche in luxury…
What initially began as a solo-operated workshop has blossomed into a multifaceted creative studio. This evolution has been nothing short of a blessing, enriched by the trust given to me by clients and fellow artists alike.
Today, Artsynibs Studio operates as a specialised creative studio offering calligraphy, engraving, and hand-painted personalisation across paper, leather, glass, and other materials. I’m proud to work alongside a team of highly skilled artists who are experienced in delivering refined guest experiences and navigating the demands of live events.
Our work supports brand activations, exclusive VIP gatherings, and bespoke event stationery.
In 2021, I authored The Joy of Modern Calligraphy.
Written during the pandemic, the book reflects both the technical foundations of the craft, and how calligraphy helped me rediscover stillness and breath.
More than a decade into this journey, Artsynibs continues to be guided by a simple belief: that in a world increasingly shaped by speed and automation, the human touch still matters.
